Globe SIM Replacement
In case of a defective or damaged SIM, or if you need to upgrade or replace a lost/stolen SIM, you can request a Globe SIM Replacement in the easiest way possible. Bring the required documents (listed below) based on your situation, visit the nearest Globe Store, and apply for a new SIM.
Steps for Globe SIM Replacement
To replace your Globe SIM, start by blocking or deactivating the old SIM card through the required steps. Once deactivated, request a new SIM and complete the Globe SIM Registration or TM SIM Registration online, or follow the preferred process for activation.
Here are the options available for SIM replacement:
- Visit a Nearest Globe Store
- Use the Globe Chatbot
- Access the GlobeOne App
Process in Nearest Globe Store
Step-1: Open Google Maps and search for the nearest Globe Store by setting the filter to sort by distance.
Step-2: If you don’t find one, check the list of Globe Stores here and locate the store nearest to your location.
Step-3: Bring all the required documents (a complete list of requirements is provided below) based on your situation.
Step-4: Request a new SIM replacement and pay the fee of ₱50.
Step-5: The documents and requirements will be verified.
Remember: Your new SIM will be issued within 24 hours, and you must re-register the deactivated Globe SIM. If you encounter any issues, contact Globe officials by dialing the Globe hotline number.

Requirements for SIM Replacement
General Requirement for All Account Owners:
- Upload a clear selfie or photo with the following:
- Head to shoulders captured.
- Eyes open, no obstructions (e.g., glasses).
- Clear, well-lit, and not blurred.
Requirements by Reason for Replacement
The requirements vary depending on the scenario when applying for a new SIM replacement, such as upgrading to an LTE/5G SIM, replacing a defective/damaged SIM, or reporting a lost/stolen SIM.
1. Upgrade to LTE/5G SIM
Account Owner:
- Physical SIM/eSIM voucher or activated handset.
- One original government-issued ID.
Authorized Representative:
- Physical SIM/eSIM voucher or activated handset.
- One government-issued ID of the representative.
- Notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA).
2. Defective/Damaged SIM
Account Owner:
- Physical SIM/eSIM voucher or activated handset.
- One original government-issued ID.
- Clear, readable SIM serial number.
Authorized Representative:
- Physical SIM/eSIM voucher or activated handset.
- One government-issued ID of both the owner and representative.
- Notarized SPA.
3. Lost or Stolen SIM
Account Owner:
- SIM bed/GCash Card/eSIM voucher (if available).
- Two government-issued IDs for affidavit of loss.
- For prepaid customers: Notarized Affidavit of Loss with details (name, address, mobile number, incident).
- Customer acknowledgment form (via stores).
Authorized Representative:
- SIM bed/GCash Card/eSIM voucher (if available).
- Two government-issued IDs for affidavit of loss.
- One government-issued ID of the representative.
- Notarized SPA.
