You just need to check whether your phone is compatible with a 5G Globe SIM. You can verify compatibility in the network settings of your phone. If not, you can also order a new Globe SIM for an upgrade.

Before activating the 5G cellular network, you must complete Globe SIM Registration (or TM SIM Registration) to enjoy faster internet speeds. Follow the guidelines below for 5G upgrading and activation.

Visit Store to Upgrade Globe SIM to 5G

If you are an existing or old user of Globe Telecom and are still using a 3G or 4G SIM that hasn’t been upgraded to 5G, follow the steps below:

Wait for Confirmation:

• Open the Messages app on your mobile phone.
• Enter “CHECK” and send it to 8080.
• Wait for the confirmation message.

• For iPhones:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap General, then choose About.
  3. Find and tap on Model Number.
  4. If the model number starts with “A” followed by four numbers, your iPhone supports 5G.
• For Android Phones:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to Connections or Network & Internet.
  3. Tap Mobile Networks or SIM & Network.
  4. Look for Network Mode or Preferred Network Type.
  5. If you see 5G listed, your phone can use 5G.
