There are different ways to call a landline using a Globe SIM card through your cellphone. It’s easy to call a landline; you just need to type 0 as the first digit, then dial the area code of the location you want to call, add the PTE code, and finally, enter the seven-digit landline number. Area Codes

Area codes are location-based fixed dialing codes used to recognize a landline number. The code varies from city to city. For example, the area code for Manila is ‘2’ and for Cebu, it is ’32’. Just Google the area code of the location before calling a landline.

PTE Codes

Public Telecommunication Entity (PTE) Codes are prefixes used before the 7-digit landline number to identify telecommunication networks assigned by the NTC. A list of PTE Code identifiers is given below.
